  12. I'm having a strange problem with dvipsk-5.55a which could be fixed in
  13. MakeTeXPKk.pl (my own version of the MakeTeXPKk shell script) but I
  14. think it points out a problem with dvips itself.

  16. When I try to dvips the local guide, I get the following output:

  30. Notice the fourth line of the output, where I have MakeTeXPKk.pl
  31. echoing it's arguments as a sanity check.  It looks like dvipsk isn't
  32. evaluating the magnification factor properly for some reason.  I've
  33. never seen this problem before.

  35. Checking back in my old saved version of dvips, it doesn't exhibit the
  36. same problem, so I must have changed something, but all I can think of
  37. is MAKE_TEX_PK_SPEC in kpathsea/tex-make.c and that was just to add
  38. back $MAKETEX_MODE to the command line.
